The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum at Alfred University in Alfred, New York, United States houses about 8,000 earthenware and glass protests by universally known fired artists. While initially housed in 1,500 sq. ft. of show space in the New York State College of Ceramics' Binns-Merrill Hall, the exhibition hall's new building was developed in 2010 by KMW Architects to enable the historical center to develop since the town of Alfred is known as a pottery mecca.
Its accumulation incorporates antiquated earthenware production of anthropological intrigue, cases of recorded and contemporary clay craftsmanship and make, and propelled pottery made using propelled fired building innovation. While the exhibition hall has an open display on the second floor of Binns-Merrill Hall on the Alfred University Campus, the dominant part of its earthenware gathering is housed away, anticipating fruition of the new historical center building.
