About Ainsley House
The Ainsley House is Campbell's historic house museum. The house was worked in the style of an English Tudor Cotswold cabin amid the Arts and Crafts development. Worked in 1925, the house was the third home of neighborhood canning pioneer, John Colpitts Ainsley and his significant other Alcinda Ainsley. The home and its Carriage House were recorded on the National Registrar of Historical Places NRHP in 2005.
The mission of the Campbell Historical Museum and Ainsley House is to translate and safeguard, in inventive and significant ways, the historical backdrop of the Campbell territory from its pioneer beginnings to the present 21st century setting, and to relate that history inside the more extensive setting of the Santa Clara Valley and incorporating locale.
