About Acadia National Park
Acadia National Park is a United States national stop situated in the territory of Maine, southwest of Bar Harbor. The recreation center holds a lot of Mount Desert Island and related littler islands along the Atlantic drift. At first the recreation center was renamed and re-assigned Lafayette National Park in 1919, and after that renamed yet again as Acadia National Park in 1929. Over three million individuals went by the recreation center in 2016. Acadia is the most seasoned assigned national stop in the United States east of the Mississippi River, albeit two eastern national stops in Ontario are more established: Thousand Islands 1904 and Point Pelee 1918.
