About Warner Textile Archive
The Warner Textile Archive is a UK-based gathering of materials, plans and paper records worked by Braintree District Museum Trust. It opened in 1993 and is the second biggest gathering of freely possessed materials in the UK after the Victoria and Albert Museum. Situated in Braintree, Essex the Archive comprises of somewhere in the range of 100,000 things speaking to the innovative and business inheritance of Warner and Sons, a main material maker that worked from Braintree all through a great part of the twentieth century.
The Warner Textile Archive is housed in part of the first plant working at Silks Way, Braintree, and keeps up a freely open display alongside pivoting open presentations.
