Walton Castle

Walton Castle is a 17^th century, Grade II recorded chateau set upon a slope in Clevedon, North Somerset, England, on the site of a prior Iron Age slope stronghold. The Domesday Book records the site as having a place with "Gunni The Dane", anyway the structure that possesses the site was constructed at some point somewhere in the range of 1615 and 1620 by John Poulett, first Baron Poulett. The mansion was planned as a chasing lodge for Lord Poulett, a Somerset MP.
