About University Parks

Offering an escape from the hurrying around of the City, the Oxford University Parks, regularly alluded to locally as the University Parks, the Uni Parks or simply The Parks, is a huge parkland zone marginally upper east of the downtown area in Oxford, England.

This lovely space, initially possessed by Merton College, was acquired by the University in the 1850s and first laid out as a Park for sports and recreational purposes in 1864.

For those that appreciate brandish there's the open door, contingent upon the season, to get a round of cricket, lacrosse, tennis, football or rugby. Harry Potter fans may significantly experience a round of Quidditch in play.

The River Cherwell outskirts the north east side of the recreation center with a little plot of land sitting between the upper and lower levels of the stream.

Norham Gardens is toward the north, Parks Road toward the west and with the Science Area on South Parks Road toward the south, here truly is some place to dream between the towers.
