About Towan Beach
Towan Beach is at the heart of Newquay, one of the liveliest inns in Cornwall, at the lowest of a steeply sloping hill. The beach is bordered to the west by means of the harbour and on the east by means of 'the Island' a towering rocky outcrop referred to as that's related to the mainland by using a suspension footbridge. The seashores at both Great Western and Tolcarne may be reached at low tide forming one prolonged sandy strip. The Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay is proper by the beach is likewise a captivating attraction for old and young.
A sand chair is available to rent. Weekend lifeguard cover at Towan Beach, Newquay in April. Full lifeguard cowl from the fifth of May until the thirtieth of September. Weekend lifeguard cowl in October and complete cowl from the 20th - 28th of October. Parking is in primary city with a ten minute stroll and down a steep hill to the seashore.
