Temple Bar Memorial
About Temple Bar Memorial
It was the chief stylized access to the City of London on its western side from the City of Westminster. It is arranged on the notable regal stately course from the Pinnacle of London to the Royal residence of Westminster, the two boss living arrangements of the medieval English rulers and from the Royal residence of Westminster to St Paul's Church building. The street east of Sanctuary Bar and inside the City is Armada Road, the street toward the west, in Westminster, is The Strand.
At Sanctuary Bar the Partnership of the City of London once in the past raised an obstruction to direct exchange into the City. Following the destruction of Wren's passage, Horace Jones, Engineer and Surveyor to the City of London, planned a commemoration to stamp Sanctuary Bar which was disclosed in 1880.
