Snig Hole Park

Snig Hole Park, at the junction of Helmshore Road and Free Lane, Helmshore, has been geared up with an improved drainage gadget and new device for babies. The mission become funded through a £30,000 furnish from the Lancashire Environment Fund and £132,000 in phase 106 funds related to two nearby housing traits. Helmshore citizens formed a Friends of Snig Hole Park organization to guide Haslingden community hobby agency Proffitt’s and Holcombe Village-based contractors Groundwork Landscapes in finishing the revamp.

Yvonne Cox, chair of the pals’ organization, stated: “We are thrilled that the work is whole and the playground is open once more. It has been a long system to get so far, but the give up result is worth each one of the sleepless nights. I’m sure each person who uses the park will agree. We’d want to thank the local citizens, who have been very affected person even as the work on website became underway. It’s exceptional to peer the play vicinity in action”.
