Shrewsbury Castle is a red sandstone chateau in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. It remains on a slope in the neck of the wind of the River Severn on which the town initially created. The stronghold, straightforwardly above Shrewsbury railroad station, is a Grade I recorded building. The Shropshire Horticultural Society obtained the mansion from a private proprietor and offered it to the town in 1924. The stronghold was inside rebuilt to end up the home of the Shropshire Regimental Museum when it moved from Copthorne Barracks in 1985.
