Scarborough Art Gallery

Scarborough Art Gallery houses the ward's lasting accumulation of compelling artwork, which has developed through endowments, inheritances and buys since its beginnings in 1947, mirroring the energetic blend of the group and its social heritage.

As well as the changeless gathering, the Art Gallery has normal transitory presentations, giving us a chance to demonstrate a portion of the fine accumulations we hold, and to show work by nearby, national and globally eminent craftsmen, and also fascinating visiting work from around the UK.

Our Community Gallery grandstands the gifts of nearby gatherings, with a ied scope of presentations consistently. The Art Gallery is additionally home to the perpetual chronicle of the Printmakers Council and consistently shows a choice of contemporary print works.
