Salisbury
About Salisbury
Salisbury is a house of God city in Wiltshire, England, with a populace of 40,302, at the intersection of the waterways Avon, Nadder, Ebble, Wylye and Bourne. Salisbury is in the southeast of Wiltshire, close to the edge of Salisbury Plain. Salisbury Cathedral was some time ago north of the city at Old Sarum. Following the house of prayer's migration, a settlement grew up around it which got a city contract in 1227 as New Sarum, which kept on being its official name until 2009 when Salisbury City Council was set up. Salisbury railroad station is an exchange between the West of England Main Line and the Wessex Main Line.
The Salisbury Museum is housed in the King's House, a Grade I recorded building whose history goes back to the 13th century, inverse the west front of the church building. The changeless Stonehenge show exhibition has intuitive shows about Stonehenge and the prehistoric studies of south Wiltshire, and its accumulations incorporate the skeleton of the Amesbury Archer, or, in other words. The Pitt Rivers show holds a gathering from General Augustus Pitt Rivers. The outfit exhibition features ensemble and materials from the territory, with outfits for kids to attempt on while envisioning themselves as characters from Salisbury's past.
