St Austell is a town in Cornwall, England, 10 miles 16 km south of Bodmin and 30 miles 48 km west of the outskirt with Devon. St Austell is one of the biggest towns in Cornwall, At the 2011 Census, it had a population of 19,958. Named after Saint Austell, one of the most punctual references to the town of St Austell is in John Leland's Itinerary. As in a lot of Cornwall and neighboring districts, tourism is progressively imperative to St Austell's economy. Vacationers are attracted to the territory by close-by shorelines and attractions, for example, the Eden Project, sited in a previous earth pit, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
The China Clay Country Park, in a previous china-dirt pit two miles north of the town, recounts the tale of the men, ladies and youngsters who lived, worked and played in the shadow of the mud tips around St Austell. St Austell is home to a few open houses, ious high road retailers, and a few free shops, a considerable lot of which provide food for voyagers. The town has a little exhibition hall which is arranged in the Market House. A Brewery Museum and Visitor Center is arranged on the site of the St Austell Brewery in Trethian Road.
