Saint Albans

Saint Albans is a city in Hertfordshire, England, and the major urban territory in the City and District of St Albans. It lies east of Hemel Hempstead and west of Hatfield, around 20 miles north-northwest of focal London, 8 miles southwest of Welwyn Garden City and 11 miles south-southeast of Luton. St Albans was the primary significant town on the old Roman street of Watling Street for explorers traveling north, and it turned into the Roman city of Verulamium.

It is a noteworthy market town and is currently a quarters town inside the London worker belt and the Greater London Built-up Area. Saint Albans has a flourishing social life, with consistent shows and theater creations held at scenes including Trestle Arts Base, St. Albans Abbey, Maltings Arts Theater, the Alban Arena, the Abbey Theater, St Peter's Church and St Savior's Church, given by ious associations including St Albans Bach Choir, St Albans Abbey Girls' Choir, St Albans Symphony Orchestra, St Albans Chamber Choir, St Albans Chamber Opera, The Company of Ten, St Albans Choral Society, and St Albans Organ Theater.

The St Albans Museum benefit runs two galleries: Verulamium Museum, which recounts the account of regular day to day existence in Roman Britain utilizing objects from the unearthings of the essential Roman Town; and the Museum of St Albans, which centers around the historical backdrop of the town and of Saint Alban. The Watercress nature save is by the River and is controlled by the Watercress Wildlife Association.
