Ryton

Ryton is a semi-rural small metropolis close to the western border of the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England, being 9.3 km west of Newcastle upon Tyne. Historically in County Durham, it was as soon as an unbiased metropolis but it have become incorporated into the metropolitan county of Tyne and Wear and the Borough of Gateshead in 1974. The parish has been absorbed into the Gateshead MBC ward of Ryton, Crookhill and Stella.
