About Royal Air Force Museum London
The RAFRoyal Air Force Museum, London, has begun a program of capital change to check the RAF's Centenary in 2018.
From 3 October 2016, the Battle of Britain and Sunderland Halls will be shut. Our Milestones of Flight exhibition will be shut from 16 October 2017. The two Halls will revive in summer 2018 with three new lasting displays situated in them.
All our different exhibitions stay open for an awesome outing and the Museum invites guests consistently. Our staff and volunteers are here to enable you to have an incredible time and in addition ensuring that you are sheltered while you are with us.
The exhibition hall was formally opened at the Colindale at that point some portion of Hendon London site on 15 November 1972 by Queen Elizabeth II. The overhangs housed 36 flying machines at the opening.
