Radford is an internal city zone of Nottingham, found simply outside the downtown area itself.
The fitting ward of the City of Nottingham Board is called Radford and Stop with a populace of 21,414.
It is limited on the south by Lenton and Nottingham Downtown area and includes around 600 sections of land 2.4 km2 of land.
Radford Enrollment Region RD was made on 1 July 1837 on the presentation of Statutory Enlistment of Births, Relational unions, and Passings BMD - and was nullified, and ingested into Nottingham RD, on 1 July 1880.
Radford has a substantial understudy populace, a large portion of whom go to the close-by Nottingham Trent College and College of Nottingham.
It gives the scenery to quite a bit of Alan Sillitoe's book Saturday Night and Sunday Morning. Various scenes from the film of the book which featured Albert Finney were shot in Radford.
