About Quantum Leap

The Quantum Leap is a figure arranged beside the River Severn in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, United Kingdom. The figure was uncovered on 8 October 2009 by Randal Keynes, an incredible awesome grandson of Darwin. The Quantum Leap is the fundamental purpose of a 'Geo-Garden', changed over from Mardol Quay Gardens on the town focus bank of the Severn. Notwithstanding Darwin himself, it observes Shropshire's topographical assorted iety because of the region containing 10 of the 12 geographical periods.

Darwin intrigued himself in geography amid his Shropshire youth. It was outlined by Sutton Coldfield-based engineering firm Pearce and Lal, who uncovered their plan in July 2008. Draftsman Ranbir Lal, of Pearce and Lal, expressed "It is a benefit to chip away at a remembrance to Charles Darwin”. They trust that the model they have outlined in his memory communicates the imperativeness and scope of his thoughts, and conveys them alive to the general population of current Shrewsbury.
