Prebends Bridge
About Prebends Bridge
It was planned by George Nicholson and worked from 1772 to 1778 and Prebends Bridge is one of three stone-curves connects in the focal point of Durham, England, that cross the River Wear.
It supplanted a transitory extension worked after the footbridge, worked in 1574, was cleared away amid a surge in 1771.
The scaffold was based on the directions of the Dean of Durham and filled in as a private street for the Dean and Chapter of Durham, giving access from the south through the Watergate.
The flow connects bears a brilliant perspective of the house of prayer and was manufactured particularly because of stylish contemplations - it was assembled somewhat north of the earlier extension, at a more extensive piece of the waterway, to enhance the perspectives accessibly.
Trees were planted along the riverbank to finish the Romantic picture.
