Potter gate Arch

In the late nineteenth century a street was based on the west side of the curve to permit activity coming up the slope past.

Movement coming the other path used to go through the curve itself until the point that the innovation of twofold decker transports required the development of a street on its eastern side as well.

Walker trafic can even now go through the curve itself onto the street of a similar name which drives specifically to Lincoln House of God.
