The harbor is a suffocated valley ria framed toward the finish of the last ice age and is the estuary of a few waterways, the biggest being the Frome. Poole Harbor is a huge common harbor in Dorset, southern England, with the town of Poole on its shores. The harbor has a long history of human settlement extending to pre-Roman circumstances.
Other extensive characteristic harbors are France's 120 km2 46 sq mi Gulf of Morbihan, New Zealand's 947 km2 366 sq mi Kaipara Harbor and San Francisco Bay in California with a moderate gauge of 1,040 km2 400 sq mi secured. The harbor is amazingly shallow normal profundity: 48 cm, with one principle dug channel through the harbor, from the mouth to Holes Bay.Poole Harbor has a region of around 36 km2 14 sq mi.
