Palace Green
About Palace Green
Royal residence Green is a zone of grass in the focal point of Durham, England, flanked by Durham Cathedral and Durham Castle.
The Cathedral and Castle together shape a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Albeit at first not some portion of the site itself, Palace Green was added to the UNESCO site in 2008.
It is arranged over the limited, high landmass shaped by a sharp twist in the River Wear.
The Cathedral is on the southern side, confronting the Castle over the Green on the north side
. Toward the east are Durham University structures including the law, philosophy, works of art and history divisions, with the music office and the college's uncommon accumulations library toward the west.
