Investigating the focal point of this delightful city will prompt the disclosure of such jewels as Strangers' Hall in Charing Cross, a medieval vendor's home now filling in as a historical center archiving local life from the Tudor time frame to the Victorian time through outfits and furniture. Another fine bit of medieval engineering is St. George Colegate, a congregation worked in 1459 and for all intents and purposes unaltered since.

Norwich is a wonderful fusion of the modern and historic, one complementing the other. Like any great city, its center is easy to walk around and has a river at its heart.
