Neath

Neath is a town and network located inside the important place of Neath Port Talbot, Wales with a population of 19,258 in 2011. The wider town area, which includes neighbouring settlements, had a populace of 50,658 in 2011. Historically in Glamorgan, the town is placed at the river of the same name, 11 km east northeast of Swansea. Neath is served by way of First Great Western on the South Wales Main Line at Neath railway station, on Windsor Road, inside the heart of the metropolis. Services function to Port Talbot Parkway, Bridgend, Cardiff Central, Newport, Bristol Parkway, Swindon, Didcot Parkway, Reading and London Paddington to the east and Swansea, Carmarthen and West Wales to the west.

The Aberdulais Falls are located at the River Dulais at Aberdulais, near Neath inside the county borough of Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The falls are formed as the river plunges over beds of tough Lower Pennant Sandstone just before meeting the River Neath flowing down the Vale of Neath. They are domestic to Europe's biggest energy-generating water wheel.
