The Musical Museum is a musical device museum and live performance venue located in Brentford, London Borough of Hounslow, a few minutes' stroll from Kew Bridge railway station. The Musical Museum contains a sizeable series of self-playing musical units, and one of the global's biggest collections of historical musical rolls. The museum houses rare working specimens of player pianos, orchestrions, reed organs, and violin gamers. The largest exhibits encompass a completely restored Wurlitzer theatre organ connected to a roll gambling mechanism and Steinway grand piano and a 12-rank roll playing residence organ.
The units and well-known shows are organized in three essential galleries; the constructing also homes a live performance corridor which doubles as a cinema that seats as much as 230 humans, and a restaurant. Mostly run with the aid of volunteers, the museum is open on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. A tour manual demonstrates the units at 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30.
