Mill Hill Old Railway Nature Reserve
About Mill Hill Old Railway Nature Reserve
Mill Hill Old Railway Nature Reserve is a 2.3-hectare site of significance for nature conservation, grade II in Mill Hill inside the London Bor of Barnet. The Reserve follows the course of the Edgware line of Highgate, which become closed in 1964 among the Edenweiler, Highgate and the Dean of London Railway, and the Lane of Bans Lane. Most of these, between a small lane from Dean's lane and The Meads, is a closed site controlled by means of the London Wildlife Trust. It is 10 AM to 4 PM open on Sunday.
The closing stretch for the Buns Lane borders limits the Lyndhurst Park. It isn't always controlled and it grows too much. The reserve is woodland, some pastures and some areas of herbs, and a massive wide iety of gradual motion. There is a selection of wild plant life inside the grassland, which includes burnet saxifrage and rare awesome burns. This is a completely beautiful vicinity. Hundreds of travelers from the world come to roam right here.
