Marbury Country Park
About Marbury Country Park
Marbury Country Park is a nation stop in Cheshire, England. It lies in the core of Northwich Community Woodlands, a fundamental piece of the Mersey Forest. Previous modern land is step by step being changed to make a rich and green condition extending from Marbury to Northwich. A significant number of the highlights of the Country Park, including the lime roads and the arboretum, are a heritage of the days when Marbury was a terrific domain. The last Marbury Hall, worked during the 1850s, was a fine-looking house displayed on the French estate at Fontainebleau, with an overwhelming carriage drive entrance.
Initially claimed by the Smith-Barry family, the lobby turned into a nation club during the 1930s, and after that a P.O.W. camp amid the Second World War. After this the corridor filled in as a lodging for ICI workers amid its extensive post-war development and a portion of the P.O.W. camp hovels held on as settlement for the workforce. By the 1960s the lobby had fallen into deterioration and must be obliterated. The historical backdrop of the corridor was told in a network play in 2002.
