About Kew Palace

Kew Palace is famous among locals and visitors and a British imperial castle in Kew Gardens on the banks of the Thames up waterway from London. Initially a vast mind boggling, couple of components of it survives. Dating to 1631 yet worked on the undercroft of a prior building, the principle survivor is known as the Dutch House. Its illustrious occupation kept going from around 1728 until 1818, with a last brief occupation in 1844.

The Dutch House is Grade I recorded, and open to guests. It is watched over by a free philanthropy, Historic Royal Palaces, which gets no subsidizing from the Government or the Crown.

The Dutch House opened to people in general until 1996, when a noteworthy rebuilding venture initiated. This included physical rebuilding to the working, as well as weaving of period draperies and other texture stylistic layout did by ace weaver Ian Dale of Scotland.
