About Healey Dell Viaduct
It was worked in 1867 and passed on the Rochdale to Bacup Railway Line, opening to explorers 1 November 1870. It is a 4km from Whitworth, Lancashire.Healey Dell Viaduct is orchestrated by Healey Dell Nature Reserve in the Spodden Valley, on the edges or Rochdale in Greater Manchester, England.It worked to the point that 1949 and passed on coal trains until into the 1960s.
Today it passes on the National Cycle Network, Regional Network Route 92 which joins National Route 66. The viaduct was worked from secretly quarried stone. It is 103 feet high finished the stream, with 8 bends, each with a 26 yards cross. Healey Dell is on the Rochdale Way and the Pennine Bridleway passes the northern end.
