About Halifax Minster
The Halifax Minster is one in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Britain who is committed to St John the Baptist and three West Yorkshire minsters at Dewsbury 1993, Halifax 2009 and Leeds 2012 respectively. The congregation houses was an organ worked in 1763 and it was introduced in 1766, worked by John Snetzler. The organ has been developed a few times in the nineteenth and twentieth hundreds of years.
It was totally modified in 1928 by Harrison and Harrison of Durham. Just a little measure of the Snetzler work stays in the present instrument. Simon Lindley of Leeds Area Church depicts this instrument as "the Moves Royce of organs."A particular of the organ can be found on the National Pipe Organ Enroll.
