About Great Western Beach
Great Western beach is the one in every of four Newquay beaches famous with both surfers and households alike, with caves within the surrounding cliffs and rock pools to explore at low tide. This west-going through seashore is located among Towan and Tolcarne beaches and is reached either by way of taking walks alongside the sands at low tide or via a tarmaced path to the left of the Great Western Hotel. The seashore is popular with each families and surfers and although it is close to the heart of Newquay it's far still one of the quieter beaches. There are rock swimming pools to probe for the children and you can stroll to all of the neighbouring beaches at low tide. It is also popular with newbie surfers.
High cliffs tower over the seaside giving some protection from the worst winds, however also forged a shadow later in the afternoon so it isn't always continually the high-quality vicinity for sunbathing.
