About Great Dunmow
Great Dunmow is a memorable market town and common area in the Uttlesford region of Essex, England. It is arranged on the north of the A120 street, around halfway between Bishop's Stortford and Braintree, 6 miles east of London Stansted Airport. Initially the site of a Roman settlement on Stane Street, the town flourished amid the Middle Ages. Numerous structures make due from this period, including a sixteenth-century town corridor. Dunmow signifies "Knoll on the Hill".
The settlement was differently alluded to as Dunmow Magna, Much Dunmow, or most generally Great Dunmow. Awesome Dunmow fringes the previous bequest of Easton Lodge in the neighboring area of Little Easton, a nation house having a place with the Maynard family. The most outstanding part, Frances Maynard, turned into the Countess of Warwick and later a special lady of King Edward VII.
