About Gosport
Gosport is a town in Hampshire on the south coast of England. Its population was 82,622. On a promontory on the western side of Portsmouth Harbor, inverse the city of Portsmouth, it is connected to it by the Gosport Ferry. Gosport is the biggest town in Britain without an operational railroad station. The Gosport Ferry gives fast access to Portsmouth Harbor railroad station, end of the Portsmouth Direct Line to London. Because of substantial activity this ship is exceptionally all around utilized. At one time the Gosport Ferry Company worked steam ships, until the point when the landing in 1966 of two indistinguishable diesel ships, named Gosport Queen and Portsmouth Queen.
In 1971 a third ship called Solent Enterprise joined the armada. She was a marginally bigger, more rich adaptation of the "Rulers". The organization presently works two new current ships alongside the two 1966 veterans. The first was worked in 2001 and is named Spirit of Gosport. After the retirement of the Solent Enterprise in 2003, a second current and marginally bigger ship was added to the armada and was named the Spirit of Portsmouth.
