Flag Fen

A Bronze Age site created around 3500 years prior, this antiquated vacation spot is involved more than 6,000 timbers, and arranged among lovely view. Flag Fen Archaeology Park is home to a unique ancient wooden monument. Giving guests an essence of an ancient domain, Flag Fen is an absolute necessity visit.

Offering pleasant perspectives of Peterborough's field, numerous metal, stone and bone ancient rarities have been found at this memorable site, making it a basic place to visit for sightseers wanting to take in more about existence in the Bronze Age. It was constructed between 900 and 1400BC and comprised more than 60,000 upright timbers and 250,000 horizontal planks. The timbers were arranged in five very long rows.
