About Fitzwilliam Museum
The Fitzwilliam Museum is the workmanship and ancient pieces historical center of the University of Cambridge, situated on Trumpington Street inverse Fitzwilliam Street in focal Cambridge, England. It gets around 470,000 guests yearly 2011– 12.
The exhibition hall is the lead historical center for the University of Cambridge Museums consortium, one of 16 Major Partner Museum administrations subsidized by Arts Council England to lead the advancement of the galleries area. The present Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum is Tim Knox.
The exhibition hall has five divisions: Antiquities; Applied Arts; Coins and Medals; Manuscripts and Printed Books; and Paintings, Drawings and Prints.
The Fitzwilliam Museum is partaking in an across the country program of in-discussions, displays and occasions with Art Fund support to praise the 250th commemoration of the Royal Academy of Arts RA.
