Falkirk is an expansive town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland, truly inside the district of Stirlingshire. It lies in the Forth Valley, 23.3 miles north-west of Edinburgh and 20.5 miles north-east of Glasgow. Falkirk had an occupant populace of 32,422 at the 2001 UK Census.
