About Erewash Museum
The Erewash Museum is a museum inside the city of Ilkeston, Erewash, in Derbyshire, England. The building that houses the museum is called the Dalby House after one of the families who inhabited it, and has served as a college and a private residing. The museum opened inside the 80s, and focuses on the history of the Erewash location, with famous masking the Second World War, archaeology, and the Stanton Ironworks.
One of the most important and most vital local employers become the Stanton Ironworks, later called Stanton and Staveley - the continuation of an extended-standing tradition of iron working in this location.
