Crosby Beach
About Crosby Beach
Crosby Beach is a piece of the Merseyside coastline north of Liverpool in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, England, extending around 2.5 miles North-West from the Seaforth Dock in the Port of Liverpool, through Waterloo, where it isolates the ocean from the Marina. The shoreline has been the lasting home of the Another Place molds by Antony Gormley since 2007.
The shoreline was settled from the mid 19th century, as before this, high ocean tides could come in to the extent the primary column of houses. In the more seasoned hills north of the coastguard station, between the ocean and the West Lancashire Golf Club, there are still some remaining parts of the old wartime guards.
The safe delivery divert in Liverpool Bay, associating the River Mersey to the Irish Sea, runs parallel to the shoreline to around the coastguard station where it swings out to ocean. The shoreline highlighted as a component of a BBC show in 2012, with scenes for the dramatization Good Cop film at and around the shoreline district. Sefton Council trusted the show would help towards advancing the coastline as an area perfect for taping. You can visit this place with your friends and loved ones.
