About Crawley
Crawley is a town and borough in West Sussex, England. It is 28 miles south of Charing Cross, 18 miles north of Brighton and Hove, and 32 miles north-east of the area town of Chichester. Crawley covers a territory of 17.36 square miles and had a populace of 106,597 at the season of the 2011 Census.
The region has been occupied since the Stone Age, and was a focal point of ironworking in Roman occasions. Crawley grew gradually as a market town from the thirteenth century, serving the encompassing towns in the Weald.
