About Cley Hill
Cley Hill is an unmistakable slope toward the west of Warminster in Wiltshire, England. The land is in Corsley area and is claimed by the National Trust. A 26.6-hectare zone of chalk prairie at Cley Hill was informed as a natural Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1975. The land is overseen by the National Trust, having been talented to the philanthropy in 1954 by the sixth Marquess of Bath. Archeological highlights incorporate an extensive univallate Iron Age slope stronghold, two bowl wheelbarrels and medieval strip lynchets.
There is a legend that the slope was framed by the villain, when he dropped a sack of earth with which he had intended to cover the town of Devizes. He had recovered the earth from Somerset and was venturing out to Devizes when he ceased to ask an elderly person the separation to the town. The man answered that he had been strolling for a considerable length of time to achieve Devizes, so the fallen angel deserted his arrangement.
