About Clevedon Court
Clevedon Court is a lodge on Court Hill in Clevedon, North Somerset, England, dating from the mid 14th century. It is presently claimed by the National Trust. It is assigned as a Grade I recorded building. The house was fabricated and added to over numerous years. The extraordinary lobby and house of prayer square are the most punctual surviving parts of the structure with the west wing being included around 1570, when the windows and beautification of whatever remains of the building were changed. Promote development and adjustment was attempted in the 18th century when it was claimed by the Elton baronets.
The house was obtained by the country and was given to the National Trust to a limited extent installment for death obligations in 1960. The Elton family is as yet inhabitant in the house, or, in other words to people in general. Notwithstanding the primary house, the grounds incorporate a determination of dividers and storehouses, some of which go back to the thirteenth century. The greenery enclosures are recorded on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
