Carville Hall Park
About Carville Hall Park
Early Victorian House at first called Clayponds in Brentford. Bought through Middlesex CC 1918 for building the Great West Road. The park round modified into bought through the Brentford UDC after the First World War as a War Memorial for the close by men who had fought and to offer an open space for public use in a place of near constructed houses and organisation. M4 divides the park.
Carville Hall is at the 1777 Bassett Survey of Ealing and belonged then to David Roberts the wealthy distiller and brewer. Originally, Clayponds actually had clay pits which had emerge as lakes in its garden. It is aligned within the equal role on the map and has been extended and refronted. The railway took some of the grounds to the south and the A4 took a few to the north. Sales information with an extensive plan of about 1880 survive in LSLibrary. This could be very cute traveller area. Park can be very beautiful.
