Canbury Gardens is an open space in Canbury locale of Kingston upon Thames, along the Lower Ham Road. It covers around 14½ sections of land region between the street and the towpath along the River Thames, downstream from Kingston Railway Bridge.

The Surrey Comet revealed that: "The first of the Canbury Gardens poplars came slamming down on Wednesday evening on March 27th 1998, after a monstrous removal activity which costs up to around £500,000 and involving 300 police, bailiffs, privacy security men, helicopters and boats."
