Brownsea Island Scout camp

In 1963, a formal 50-section of land 200,000 m2 Scout campground was opened by Olave Baden-Powell, when the island turned into a nature preservation region possessed by the National Trust. In 1973, a Scout Jamboree was hung on the island with 600 Scouts.
