Bognor Regis
About Bognor Regis
Bognor Regis is a coastline resort in West Sussex on the south shore of England, 55.5 miles south-west of London, 24 miles west of Brighton, 5.81 miles south-east of Chichester and 16 miles east of Portsmouth. Other close-by towns incorporate Littlehampton east-north-east and Selsey toward the south-west. The adjacent towns of Felpham, and Aldwick are currently rural areas of Bognor Regis, alongside those of North and South Bersted. An ocean side resort was produced by Sir Richard Hotham in the late 18th century on what was a sandy, undeveloped coastline.
It has been guaranteed that Hotham and his new resort are depicted in Jane Austen's incomplete novel Sanditon. The resort developed gradually in the primary portion of the nineteenth century yet became quickly following the happening to the railroad in 1864. In 1929 the region was picked by counselors to King George V which prompted its majestic postfix, by illustrious assent. Butlin's has been available in the town since the mid 1930s when an entertainment mecca and zoo were opened. An occasion camp followed in 1960 and this has all the more as of late moved towards lodging settlement with current pleasantries. You can come with your family members and friends.
