About Blake Museum

The Blake Museum is in Bridgwater, Somerset, England and since April 2009 has been controlled by Bridgwater Town Council with assistance from The Friends of Blake Museum. It has been an Accredited Museum since 2006. The historical center was established in 1926 by Bridgwater Borough Council, and its gathering zone secured from East and West Huntspill in the North to Thurloxton in the South and from Ashcott and Burrowbridge in the East to past Nether Stowey in the West.

In 1974, the benefits of the Borough Council were consumed by Sedgemoor District Council, which ran the exhibition hall until 2009, when it could never again stand to do as such. The museum was come back to the responsibility for Town Council. From that point forward, the museum volunteers have totally re improved the building and garden, have attempted a re show in new instances of the relics, and have started a refresh of the historical center's index.
