Birdoswald Roman Fortress was previously known as ‘Banna’ and was a post towards the western end of Hadrian's Divider, in the Roman area of Britannia.
Now, the site is involved by a previous ranch called Birdoswald. Starting at 2005, it is the main site on Hadrian's Divider at which noteworthy occupation in the post-Roman period has been demonstrated, and it is liable to a long haul archeological program under the directorship of Tony Wilmott.
