Balloch Castle

Balloch castle is a mid nineteenth century nation house arranged at the southern tip of Loch Lomond, in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Balloch was a property of the Lennox family from the eleventh century, and the old palace was worked in the thirteenth century. In the nineteenth century the domain was obtained by John Buchanan of Ardoch, who annihilated the remains of the old manor and raised the present building. The palace grounds highlight two primary delight gardens, one toward the north of the house including rhododendrons and azaleas that achieve full sprout in late May and early June.

Toward the south is a walled cultivate planted with blooms and bushes, and encompassed by the second region of elaborate planting. Between these two zones, and clearing down to the loch shore, is a zone of grassed parkland with example trees. The entire is confined by fancy and semi-normal forests.
