About Aylestone Meadows

Aylestone Meadows is an 8.8 hectare Local Nature Reserve and famous among visitors as well as among locals and suited in Leicester.

It is possessed and overseen by Leicester City Council. It is Leicester's biggest nature hold arranged on the floodplains of the River Soar and River Biam alongside a few blocks of the Grand Union Canal.

It has high natural life protection esteem, and has trails that are well known scene with climbers, families on excursions, canine walkers and cyclists.

There are numerous types of plant and natural life live among the interwoven of surge knolls, forest and wetlands 1.6 miles from the downtown area.

Two hundred and fifty thousand years after the Ice Age, the River Soar took after the course of the River Bytham and is presently one of the essential wellsprings of the infrequent flooding of the knolls.

It is home to feathered creature and untamed life together with uncommon and basic verdure.
