Aylesbury Waterside Theatre
About Aylesbury Waterside Theatre
Aylesbury Waterside Theater is a £47 million auditorium in Aylesbury, England, United Kingdom displaying a scope of West End and visiting musicals and plays, alongside exhibitions of musical drama and expressive dance and a Christmas emulate. In 2003, Aylesbury Vale District Council held an open discussion into plans for another venue to be worked to supplant the current Civic Center Theater. Norman Bragg for London based draftsmen AedasRHWL Arts Team was appointed in 2007 to attempt point by point configuration work with a service to check the initiation of building work hung on 24 May of that year with Councilor Sue Polhill, Chairman of Aylesbury Vale District Council trimming a grass from the earth.
The building work was done by Hertfordshire-based Willmott Dixon. The acoustic outline, by Arup Acoustics, incorporates a CARMEN electroacoustic improvement framework. This electronically changes the base acoustic (intended for discourse and enhanced occasions) to give a more reverberant sound to symphonic and choral exhibitions. Aylesbury Waterside Theater was formally opened on 12 October 2010 by Cilla Black. The dispatch was set apart with an outside live occasion facilitated by Jonathan Wilkes and Suzanne Shaw.
